ANSWERED PRAYER

Our family has prayed and prayed and prayed for years for a trip to my husband's native land, the Dominican Republic. I must admit that I lost hope after so many years of asking for something that appeared to not be on God's heart. You see, my husband has had a passion for opening an orphanage in his country. Yes, he already has eight children and wants an orphanage. It's so funny, sometimes I feel like the wife in Evan Almightyhttp://www.evanalmighty.com/ (if you haven't seen the movie, just imagine how it would feel if your husband came home one day and told you that God spoke to him and told him to build an ark).

Nevertheless, in the midst of my lack of faith, God came through. We will be leaving September 8 for 20 days. We'll visit orphanages, villages, Haitain communities and the beach. We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring the Good News of our Lord and Savior to a nation that is crying out for God's truth.

Please pray for us as we embark upon this journey. We need to hear God's voice in an amazing way. We'll be looking for a site for our future orphanage and a home where we can live.
